Service & Conduct Policy

Scope of Care

Elaine Cares provides companion care and emotional engagement. Our staff are NOT Personal Support Workers (PSWs) or Nursing staff. To ensure the safety of our clients and staff, we adhere to a strict scope of service.

Prohibited Tasks

Our staff will not perform the following:

  • Assisting with ADLs (Bathing, teeth, hair)
  • Assisting with medication
  • Cooking or Meal Prep
  • Cleaning or Housekeeping
  • Laundry services
  • Personal document assistance
  • Driving clients

Harassment Policy

At Elaine Cares, we have zero tolerance for harassment against staff and clients. We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness. Any party found guilty of harassment will be reprimanded, and services may be terminated immediately without a refund.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice will roll over to the following week. If notice is given in** less than 24 hours**, the service is forfeited.

Refund Policy

Elaine Cares maintains a No Refund Policy. All payments are final. Exceptions may only be considered in the event of unforeseen, significant circumstances, specifically the death or hospitalization of the client.
